Buckwheat Express buses travel three regularly scheduled routes throughout Preston County, WV. Our drivers can pick you up or drop you off anywhere along our regular travel routes (even if the location is not listed on the schedule). For pick-up, simply flag the driver down by waving your arm.

Route Deviation Service

Route Deviation Service allows you to be picked up/dropped off at any location within ¾ mile of any regular route. The fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip. To use this service, please call to make a reservation one day before you plan to travel: (304) 329-0464.

Demand/Response Service

Demand/Response Service allows those who live throughout Preston County (and who are unable to use Route Deviation Service) to travel from their home to any destination in Preston County. A reservation is required and some restrictions apply. To learn more or schedule a ride, call: (304) 329-0464.
