Buckwheat Express rides are payable with cash only. Your fare (payment) is due before boarding. Our drivers are unable to give change, so please be sure to have your exact fare ready. Current Buckwheat Express transit fares per ride are as follows:

TRANSFER FARE (EACH ADDITIONAL ZONE THEREAFTER): 25¢

FREE TRANSPORTATION FOR SENIORS
Adults aged 60 and up can ride any of our regular routes free of charge. There are also special trips available for seniors only. Accommodations are available for riders with disabilities and those who use wheelchairs, canes, walkers, and other mobility assistance devices.
Community Shopping Days
Preston County residents aged 60+ can join us each week for a FREE shopping trip. Join us to get your weekly groceries and other necessary items.
